We want you to feel as comfortable shopping with us online as you would personally shopping in one of our two brick and mortar stores.
What are your shipping charges?
Our shipping rates are based on the total purchase price to one location.
Orders usually ship UPS Standard Ground (3-7 business days).
Up to $29.99 shipping and handling = $8.95
Up to $49.99 shipping and handling = $9.95
Up to $74.99 shipping and handling = $10.95
$75 and above shipping and handling = 12% of order total
Please note: Some oversized and heavy items will have an additional freight charge that will be added at checkout.
When and how are orders shipped?
Orders are usually shipped the next business day from our Kansas City location after order payment has been received. If for any reason your shipment is delayed you will be notified via email. In most cases we ship via United Parcel Service but may also use the United States Postal Service.
Should you need an item sent by Next Day or 2nd Day shipping, please call us at 877-445-8733 for a price quote. Oversize items cannot be sent by expedited shipping methods.
When your order ships you will receive a confirmation email. If order ships via United Parcel Service you will also be supplied with tracking information.
Some of our furniture and larger items are directly drop shipped from the manufacturer. See individual items for that information. If an item is to be drop shipped please allow 14 business days for delivery. An additional oversize charge for large or heavy items may apply to your purchase – see individual items.
Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
We do ship via US Mail to Alaska and Hawaii.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we do not ship internationally.
Do you ship to PO and APO/FPO boxes?
We can ship to a PO box but will use the US Mail as the carrier. We can also ship to APO/FPO boxes with US addresses.
Can I track my package?
If your package is shipped via United Parcel Service you will receive an email with a tracking number.
How do you handle returns?
It’s important to us that you are satisfied with your purchase. Should you decide the product isn’t what you really expected, if you received duplicate gifts or if you simply wish to return it we have a 14-day money-back guarantee on all items returned in
new and unused condition
. While you are responsible for shipping costs
both
ways on returned items, we will gladly refund the purchase amount.
Shipping costs on returned items shipped at our expense will be refunded less the original shipping charges. If the return is due to an error by The Learning Tree or because of a defective product, we will also refund shipping charges. Your return/credit to your credit card will be processed within 7 to 10 business days of our receipt of the item.
To receive a refund, wrap the package securely, in the original packing if possible. Please include your name, address, and phone number along with the original receipt and reason for the return.
For your protection, please ship your package via an insured, traceable carrier.

We will place a credit on your credit card (minus shipping charges) once we receive your package. Refunds will be made to the original credit card used for the transaction. Gift-wrap charges are non-refundable.
Please remember: All items must be in their new, unused condition and returned in original packaging along with any manuals and registration cards.
How does the Wish List work?
Make it easy for family and friends to get your child just what they want. Our Wish List makes it a snap! Simply find a desired product, click on the green Wish List button and build your list. When you have chosen everything send the list by going to the Wish List page and typing in the recipient’s email address.
To use the Wish List you will be asked to create a user log-in and password so you can access your list. Your information will not be used for any other purpose than to keep track of the Wish List for your convenience.
